Union Scholarships
Unifor Local 780G offers two scholarships for the children of Union members. The $500 scholarships are meant to help defray the cost of tuition at an institution of higher learning. Any union member that has a child entering university or some other educational institution is invited to apply for the scholarship on behalf of his child. Please contact the office to get an application.
Training
The Glenn Biech Graphic Arts Training Institute, our Local’s school, is located in the same building as the Union and is open to all members of our Local.
Our apprentices learn the basic skills of their chosen fields there, and ticketed tradespeople upgrade their expertise as technology evolves in our challenging sector.
